Escape from boredom (Open to anyone and everyone!)

Mariko once again found herself on the beaches of Destiny Island. The day was calm and peaceful as always, and Mariko found that there was nothing to do. She sat on the sand cross-legged and stared out at the ocean. Or rather the people in the ocean. There was a group of natives playing in the water. Even with her intense boredom, Mariko had no real longing to join them. She sighed and wondered how long this boredom would laugh.

*Kairi was among the "natives" in the water and looked over to see Mariko on the beach. She smiled and swam over to the beach and walked over to Mariko and sat down in front of her* Hey why dont you come join us the water is wonderful today.

Ooc: Wrong person. lol

A girl came up and sat in front of Mariko. "Excuse me?" Mariko said raising an eyebrow. She had no idea who this girl was and it seemed she was somewhat confused. "I think you confused me for someone else," she added.

OOC: I edited sorry lol

BIC: Im sorry how rude of me Im Kairi. Why dont you come join us in the water its a beautiful day for a swim.

Ooc: It's ok.

"No thanks. I think I want to stay dry this time," Mariko said, thinking of the last time she was on the Island. I wonder where that boy is now, she though, but snapped back to the present. "Sorry," she added in an attempt to be polite.

Its ok your choice so whats your name? *Kairi asked smiling at her*

"Mariko," she answered plainly, crossing her arms. "And you are?"

Kairi, Nice to meet you Mariko well do you want to go get an icecream? We have a hshop just pass those trees over there. *Kairi erplied being her usual happy self*

"Sure, there's not much else to do," Mariko said with a sigh. She stood up and brushed the sand off of her pants. Then she put her hands on her hips and waited for Kairi to stand as well.

*Kairi stood up and smiled at Mariko before walking onto the shop and turned just at the trees* Coming Mariko?

Mariko rolled her eyes and followed the other girl. "Of course I am," Mariko said a little bitterly. Then the two of them entered the shop.

*Kairi noticed the bitterness in her voice but didnt say anything about it. Instead she just smiled the biggest and spoke as kind as she could* So what flavor are you going to get Mariko?

"I'm not sure," Mariko said looking at all of the different flavors. "What are you getting?"

Sea salt. Its my favorite flavor. *Kairi replied as they got closer to the shop*
